The Donald is getting hot under the collar.
Donald Trump tweeted that he would sue Ted Cruz if “doesn’t clean up his act, stop cheating, & doing negative ads.”
The tweet – issued on Erev Shabbos – also took a shot at Cruz’s citizenship, claiming that Cruz does not have legal standing to run for president as he is, Trump says, not a natural-born citizen.
Trumps Tweet read: “If @TedCruz doesn’t clean up his act, stop cheating, & doing negative ads, I have standing to sue him for not being a natural born citizen.”
This past week, Trump said that Cruz’s campaign used robocalls in South Carolina that become hostile if a potential voter says he or she supports a candidate other than Cruz. Cruz’s campaign denied the claim.
