President Donald Trump remained confident that he won the election during his remarks at the White House Chanukah party on Wednesday, ensuring his supporters that he could serve in the highest office for four more years with the help of “certain very important people” with wisdom and courage.

After wishing attendees a happy Chanukah, Trump said of the 2020 presidential election, “We won this one and I really believe it’s a much bigger victory than even the first one,” according to Jewish Insider reporter Jacob Kornbluh.

“You can’t have a country where somebody loses an election and he becomes president of the United States,” the president told his supporters, referring to Democrat Joe Biden.

Trump added that with the assistance of “certain very important people, if they have wisdom and if they have courage, we are going to win this election in a landslide.” The crowd then started chanting “four more years.”

  1. Dear Mr. President,

Enough already. You remind me of the kid in the schoolyard who, whenever he loses a game, will never, ever admit he lost fair and square, but it’s always “You cheated!”
Please, Mr. President – you have nothing to gain, and whatever remains of peoples’ respect for you to lose. This unprecedented circus is hurting our country. You don’t have to be gracious, you don’t have to be congratulatory and you don’t have to attend president-elect Biden’s inauguration – all that’s asked is that you stop this destructive, unseemly, delusional behavior.

    Thank you,
    A supporter and Trump-voter
