President-elect Donald Trump’s team set the tone for his Inauguration Day celebrations with a jab at outgoing President Biden, suggesting he’d soon be moving into a retirement home.
“EVICTION NOTE,” posted TrumpWarRoom, Trump’s transition team, on X early Monday morning.
“At 1200 p.m. ET, White House Senior Living will cease to exist and its resident will be transferred to a Delaware facility on a permanent basis.”
The announcement accompanied a satirical 30-second video that portrayed Biden, the oldest U.S. president at 82, seemingly residing at a fictional “White House Senior Living” center.
Originally shared by Trump on Truth Social last year, the video includes clips of Biden strolling on a beach, eating pizza, and being assisted by First Lady Jill Biden.
“Our vibrant facility offers delightful activities and outings, round-the-clock professional care, and exquisite house-made meals,” says the narrator, concluding with the tagline that its “residents feel like presidents.”
