Donald Trump leads Ted Cruz 49-34 according to a new NBC News/Wall Street Journal/Marist poll released on Sunday.

Cruz desperately needs a win in the state to have any hope of stopping Trump from securing the nomination. He has gotten the endorsement of Indiana Governor Mike Pence and announced Carly Fiorina as his running mate in order to gain the momentum.

Also, 58 percent of those polled said that they disapproved of the Cruz alliance with John Kasich which was supposed to allow the former to consolidate support in Indiana. Read more at NBC News.

  1. Matzav is so in the tank for Trump they post this in the headline as a fact. This is one poll that seems to be an outlier. Not saying it shouldn’t factor in to all polls, because it should, but it isn’t what the polling in general shows. Realclearpolitics.com has Trump up by an average of 4.1. What this polls shows most of all is that the polling in Indiana is all over the place and not very reliable.
