President Trump said Wednesday that House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) “deserves” to be the next Speaker after Democrats won back control of the House in Tuesday’s midterms, and suggested Republicans could vote to ensure it happens.
“In all fairness, Nancy Pelosi deserves to be chosen Speaker of the House by the Democrats. If they give her a hard time, perhaps we will add some Republican votes. She has earned this great honor!” Trump tweeted.
The president called Pelosi on Tuesday night after Democrats were projected to take back the majority in the House and acknowledged Pelosi’s calls for bipartisanship in her victory speech.

No! The Democrats deserve to have Pelosi, as the speaker. Her intellect and abilities in that arena will do wonders for the GOP.
Do people really not get what our great president is doing here??? He’s facing the reality! Whether we like it or not the dems now (will) control the house. The president understands that and he is trying his best to be able to work with her for the good of the country so he’s trying to compliment her. He has nothing to loose and only to gain by having her on his good side. If it will happen is a whole different story but we know that he’s great at negotiating and although I will be shocked if indeed she and the rest of the bunch do what the country needs its a great move on trumps part .
