President Trump said at a roundtable a few minutes ago that he’s been taking the anti-malarial drug hydroxychloroquine for “about a week and a half” as a preventative measure against the coronavirus.
The FDA issued a warning last month that the unproven drug should only be taken in hospitals because of the risk of heart complications. There’s no substantiated evidence that taking hydroxychloroquine prevents COVID-19 infections, but numerous doctors have said that they’ve seen success with it with their patients.
Matzav.com has reportedly repeatedly for over 6 weeks that Dr. Zev of New York has seen success using the drug for treating Covid-19.
“A lot of good things have come out on the hydroxy. I’m taking hydroxychloroquine. I’ve been taking it. I hope to not be able to take it soon. But I think people should be allowed to,” the president said.
Trump said he began taking the drug several weeks ago after getting a letter from “a doctor” extolling its benefits. He was seemingly referring to Zelenko.
“He said out of hundreds of people that he’s treated he hasn’t lost one. All I can tell you is, so far I seem to be OK. If it doesn’t work you’re not going to get sick or die. It’s been heavily tested.
“I’ve taken it about a week and a half now, and I’m still here. I get a lot of tremendously positive news on the hydroxy, and you know the expression I use, ‘What do you have to lose?’ ” he said, reporting he had “zero symptoms” or side effects.

He is taking it because it’s been shown to be effective when taken early and with Zinc. It’s been around for decades with no big side effects. Countries around the world who are using it have seen a very positive outcome with its use despite what the media wants you to hear. Thank you Dr Zelenko for your early treatment of this. I only wish the US had adopted its use early. Personally I’m taking Quercetin as it has none of the rare heart rythym issues attributed to HQC(with AZithromicin) and is considered a zinc ionophore which allows zinc not the cells to inhibit virus replication, similar to HQC. Quercetin has even a safer profile than HQC and is easier to obtain as it’s comes in supplement form.

Please don’t. I don’t know why this theory is still ongoing without more in depth research. So dangerous. I am really concerned for his safety.

Dr. Zelenko is a mensch and a hero. He doesn’t care about himself or his reputation. He only cares about saving lives. May HaShem give him koach, and protect him from rashoim who want to destroy him for speaking the truth.
Why was Dr. Zelenko’s video deleted yesterday?

I have RA and the very first medicine was hydroxychloroquine. My Rheumatologist didn’t say there was any risks to the heart. Other RA patients have said basically the same thing.
For Zelenko he only uses it for 5 days (with 220mg of zinc) and about the same dosage I have been taking daily for many years. In Costa Rica and many other countries they follow the same idea and they say it has been a success. Costa Rica doesn’t use the antibiotic but if the virus is “nipped in the bud” it wouldn’t be much needed since it is for secondary infections brought on by the injury from the virus.
How many high risk patients by now as of 19 May have followed his regiment? Certainly enough to form a retrospective experimental group. The retrospective control group would be all those who were sent home with nothing but perhaps a pain reliever.
How can you have a control group when Zelenko and others advocate using the medication on high risk patients based on “clinical suspicion” of an infection from the virus? You cannot, and it would be unethical to do so. If you believe the medicine works then give it to the patient and there are plenty of patients at other urgent care facilities and hospitals who make up the control group retrospectively.
I believe Zelenko is right and we should be following his plan. HCQ/Zinc prescribed early even before a confirmation of an infection will get us out of our current mess. People can get back to work knowing that if they get sick there is a plan that will lessen the impact of this illness.
My main point is that in Zelenko’s patients we already have the experimental group to compare it to the general fatality rate of other patients who get no medicine except perhaps something for their pain. His numbers will attest to the effectiveness of his plan. And he is not the Lone Ranger; others are using it as well, look around, it is being used effectively in many countries. Right now, because of the politics of this situation, research from the US will mostly be untrustworthy. So many studies seem to be made to fail and it is a sad thing that we are all being held captive by powerful political groups and the media that is loyal to them.
When will one be able to get hydroxychloroquine off the counter in pharmacies? Answer: When DS Big Pharma will be gone.
