President Trump appears to have eased his threats of an imminent attack on Syria, saying airstrikes “could be be very soon or not so soon at all!”
On Wednesday, the DB reports, Trump reacted angrily to reports that Russia had vowed to shoot down any U.S. missiles directed at Syria, warning both Russia and Syria that the strikes “will be coming, nice and new and ‘smart!’”
But the president was in a more cryptic mood this morning, saying on Twitter: “Never said when an attack on Syria would take place. Could be very soon or not so soon at all! In any event, the United States, under my Administration, has done a great job of ridding the region of ISIS. Where is our ‘Thank you?’” The White House National Security team is due to meet later Thursday to discuss its response to a suspected chemical-weapons attack in Syria’s Douma that killed scores of people. Bush had no problem killing 3000 Americans as justification to get Iraq’s oil. Trump is not attacking Syria now because he (like everyone else) knows it’s a hoax. He’s not Bush who’d kill people just because the Left Satan want it… If Assad is not behind the chemical weapons – if there even was any – why he should Trump attack Syria now?
