President Donald Trump on Wednesday warned of “very severe consequence” if Iran relaunched its nuclear program after he vowed to pull the U.S. out of the landmark deal, adding that he “would advise them very strongly” against restarting the program.
Asked about the possibility, Trump said “Iran will find out” his course of action if they take such an action.
“They’re going to find out. I don’t think they should do that,” Trump told reporters during a Cabinet meeting. “I would advise Iran not to start their nuclear program. I would advise them very strongly.”
The president added: “If they do, there will be very severe consequence.”
