As the US Presidential Election approached its November 3 denouement and both candidates barrel through crucial states in a last bid to win votes, fears are beginning to grow as to what the country will look like on November 4.

US President Donald Trump warned of “bedlam in our country” if no clear winner was to emerge quickly in the November 3 election, according to The Times of Israel.

He maintained that it could take weeks to sort out the election result – not an illogical viewpoint considering that approximately 70 million mail-in ballots have already been cast and the counting cannot take place until election day itself – and claimed “very bad things” could happen in the interim.

  1. There is no reason by the count shouldn’t be able to start in many states prior to election day but Trump’s own partisans have prevented that. He wants to discredit his upcoming defeat.

    • What you are saying is not correct. The point is that the main way fraud is detected is by out-of-character results – in other words, statistics, and that is how so many fraudulent lottery winnings are uncovered (like the store owner who deceives unknowing customers on lottery numbers to keep the winning). That means in order for fraudulent votes to go undetected, they must fall in a narrow range of variability. Until the true number of votes are known (which means counted), the fraudulent votes risk being either too few to be useful or else being too many and thus seriously risk being detected.

  2. They should have hired FedEx employees to count the ballots. A definitive result would absolutely, positively be delivered overnight.
