President Trump is suggesting he might lift restrictions intended to prevent the spread of coronavirus if the economic pain from the measures becomes too great, tweeting that “we cannot let the cure be worse than the problem itself.
“WE CANNOT LET THE CURE BE WORSE THAN THE PROBLEM ITSELF,” Trump said in a late night tweet. “AT THE END OF THE 15 DAY PERIOD, WE WILL MAKE A DECISION AS TO WHICH WAY WE WANT TO GO!”
The message from Trump comes as the number of coronavirus cases in the United States grows and grows and as New York becomes an epicenter. New York now accounts for an estimated 5 percent of the world’s cases.

Mu say better
I wish all the politicians and news organizations would just say how many people are being hospitalized in the ICU or G-D forbid died. Hyping the numbers of positive cases only get people nervous and is totally meaningless. I have a teenage nephew who has a previous lung condition. On Sunday he had 103. My Sister of course panicked, but the doctor said if he can breathe fine then don’t even bother having him tested. Today he is still under the weather but no fever. I’m certain most people in NY had at least a mild case of this.
Refuah Shlema to your nephew and to all the Yidden!
Unfortunately dozens of orthodox Jews died, but we don’t hear about them.
If we did we would not have rogue groups trying to form minyanim
President Trump is right. Corona virus is the solution, the “cure”, not the problem. The problem is so huge and spread globally, as Trump tweeted: “The world is at war with a silent enemy. WE WILL WIN”. Thank G-d we finally have a world leader who’s putting his life on the line to eradicate this major problem once and for all.
