President Trump announced today that he is considering rejoining the World Health Organization, despite having signed an executive order just days earlier to withdraw the United States from the group. “Maybe we would consider doing it again, I don’t know, they have to clean it up a bit,” Trump remarked during a rally at Las Vegas’ Circa Resort & Casino.
He brought up the possibility as he criticized the disproportionate financial contributions the U.S. makes to the organization. Trump pointed out that the U.S. pays around $500 million, while China, with a population of 1.4 billion, contributes only $39 million.
For years, the president has been vocal about his dissatisfaction with the WHO, describing it as a “failure to adopt urgently needed reforms,” and he has repeatedly called the U.S. financial burden “onerous.” As his first term was nearing its end, Trump took steps to remove the U.S. from the WHO, but President Biden blocked the effort on his first day in office.
At the rally, Trump also mentioned his plans to collaborate with Congress to pass a bill that would not only lower taxes but also fulfill a campaign promise from June to eliminate taxes on workers’ tips. “Your tips will be 100% yours, won’t that be nice?” he remarked with enthusiasm.
He went on to express his intent to prevent the hiring of more than 80,000 new IRS agents, a project funded by $72 billion allocated to the federal agency through the Inflation Reduction Act. “They hired, or tried to hire, 88,000 workers to go after you and we’re in the process of developing a plan to either terminate all of them, or maybe we’ll move them to the border,” Trump said.
Wrapping up his visit to Las Vegas during his busy inauguration week, the president expressed his gratitude to his supporters in Nevada, noting that they helped him become the first Republican presidential candidate to win the state in decades, beating Vice President Kamala Harris by 46,000 votes. “I just came here because I wanted to thank the people of Nevada for giving us such a big win,” he said.
Trump also mentioned a series of executive orders he signed to undo the policies of the Biden administration and to fulfill campaign promises, such as sealing the border and restoring law and order. “This week alone I took nearly 350 executive actions to reverse the horrible failures and betrayals that were inherited from a group of people that didn’t know what the hell they were doing,” he stated. “Our message couldn’t be more clear: America’s decline is over.”

I thought that when we finally got a normal president he would see the evil in the WHO and all of Gates shenanigans and how he is trying to harm the world. Wake up Mr. President.
