President Trump fired off a series of tweets in which he called the investigation into his campaign’s links with Russia “the single greatest witch hunt of a politician in American history!”

He posted, “With all of the illegal acts that took place in the Clinton campaign & Obama Administration, there was never a special councel [sic] appointed!”

New York Times report published early Thursday described an account of Trump’s initial response to the news. Just 30 minutes before the rest of the world knew, the White House was informed the Justice Department would be appointing a special counsel—with the president’s son-in-law, Jared Kushner, said to be one of the only advisers who wanted to put up a fight. According to the Times, Kushner, who had urged Trump to fire FBI Director James Comey, suggested a “counterattack” after the announcement. When Trump was informed at 5:35 p.m., and his team, including Press Secretary Sean Spicer, Communications Director Michael Dubke, Kushner, Chief of Staff Reince Priebus, longtime aide Hope Hicks, Senior Adviser Kellyanne Conway, and Chief Strategist Stephen Bannon were all summoned to his office, the Times reports. Nearly everyone, except Kushner, suggested that Trump take a conciliatory stance and publicly accept Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein’s decision. In the end, the White House released a statement declaring the president’s innocence and its hope for a quick investigation. Read more at THE NEW YORK TIMES.

  1. The answer is simple Mr trump. Republicans are a bunch of week kneed abused victims who give in to anything. You may be a fighter but eo else is a bunch of losers.

  2. Guys like Trump are collectively cowards. This is constant… The media hates me. Someone is looking to make me give up my bold prowess. Five year olds do not take my cherished good cinderella story.

In the age of Who’s the Boss, we need not forget G-d. He he has given up the dilemma of history. A White House with no trust.

Maybe the next election will see more than tights and scandal.

    Ridiculous.

  3. So the 7 Congressional investigations of Hillary and the millions of dollars spent without finding anything wasn’t enough. Trump thinks there should also have been a special counsel. Unlike with Trump, Hillary wasn’t treated with kid gloves by the Republicans, and she testified at their hearings.

  4. I agree with comment #1. The Republicans are always bending over backwards and walk on eggshells not to god forbid be called the dreaded Racist word by the DNC controlled media.

  5. Well it’s quite simple. Democrats are above the law. It’s only those miserable evil white Republican racists that have to follow the archaic rules. Sure, just ask Scooter Libby.
