Trump’s Warning To Kim Justified, Say Experts, As Dems Blast ‘Reckless’ Talk

Top Democrats called President’s Trump’s harsh warning Tuesday to North Korea “reckless,” but intelligence and military experts said the commander-in-chief’s promise of “fire and fury” was justified given Kim Jong Un’s continued threats and disdain for diplomacy.

“Deterrence is really important,” Hoffman said on Fox News’ “Fox & Friends.” “It’s important for the United States to lay out very clearly how it would act in response to a North Korean attack.”

“Anybody, whether a member of Congress or a journalist, who thinks [their] politics trumps the national security of America, that’s an indictment of you,” Sebastian Gorka, Trump’s deputy adviser, said Wednesday on “Fox & Friends.” “You need to ask yourself: what’s more important? My political party or America. There’s only one correct answer to that.” Read more at Fox News.

  1. Seb is right. The loser Democrats see waging war against Trump as yehoreg v’al ya’avor. Never mind that they are jeopardizing the security of the United States and its citizens. Just because security is the single most important constitutional responsibility of the government, won’t stop them from destroying the country just to get another dig at the President.

  2. This is another inaccurate partisan headline. The comments on this have crossed party lines. This has NEVER been how a US president has addressed a conflict, never mind a potential nuclear one. Does the president have a strategy? Possibly. But the mere fact you have cabinet members contradicting the tone and tenor, shows they are cleaning up after the surprise comment that notched this up unnecessarily.
