The world’s public forum is officially public. Twitter debuted on the New York Stock Exchange Thursday morning, with shares opening at $45.10.
There are around 544.70 million available, and within the first minute of trading the share volume had already hit 13 million. Twitter’s $1.8 billion initial offering makes it the seventh largest IPO in the world this year, and the largest in tech since Facebook last year offered at $16 billion. Read more.
