The first case involved a member of the Kfir Brigade, who was struck by shrapnel after an IDF grenade detonated nearby during fighting.
Medics provided urgent care on the ground before he was airlifted by helicopter to a medical center in central Israel.
In a second, unrelated episode, a soldier from Brigade 188 was hurt when he was accidentally shot during a maneuver, the result of a miscommunication between units.
That soldier was transported by helicopter to Wolfson Hospital in Holon for further treatment.
