Two NYPD officers have been shot at the Melrose Houses in the Bronx, WPIX 11 reports.
The shooting happened around 8 p.m. at 320 E. 156th St., near Concourse Village in the Melrose section.
The officers were taken to Lincoln Hospital. Police sources tell PIX11 that one officer is in critical condition.
A manhunt is underway for at least one suspect.
Over 100 police officers are on the scene where the shooting occurred and many of them have entered the apartment building with sledge hammers, jackhammers and automatic weapons.

Ah, its nothing to get all worked up about. Bratton keeps telling us how crime is non existent in NYC. He made like nothing when he was told about the slashings on the subways. He blamed the hard working taxpayer’s for falling asleep on the trains after a long day! Now his own donut eaters got some of their own medicine. Way to go Bratton!
