Two Justice Department prosecutors assigned to special counsel Robert Mueller’s ongoing investigation are leaving the office to return to previous postings.

Peter Carr, a spokesman for the special counsel’s office, confirmed in an email to The Hill that Kyle Freeny and Brandon Van Grack are leaving the probe.

Van Grack recently left the probe to return to the agency’s national security division, while Freeny will remain on until mid-October before returning to the agency’s criminal division. Van Grack will continue to contribute to the special counsel investigation “on specific pending matters that were assigned to him during his detail.”

  1. Proof that they have absolutely nothing on President Trump. Adam Schiff should be ashamed of himself and he should be made to foot the bill for the investigation.

  2. soon this whole probe will fall apart and Mueller will be left alone with his tongue out like a …………………………

    • Soon? In the meantime millions of our tax dollars are wasted on a hoax that Hillary with the help of the CIA and FBI created and the apathetic citizens are letting them getting away with it.

  3. They are reading the tea leaves which tell them that the Federal Legislature will stay in GOP hands after the 2018 mid-terms. Which means they are abandoning a sinking ship before they get caught up in an investigation of precisely what the Mueller witch hunt is all about. It is highly unlikely that AG Sessions will survive the midterms to continue to protect them.
