The two winning tickets for the $636 million Mega Millions jackpot were sold in California and Georgia, say lottery officials.
The jackpot, which was the second-largest in U.S. history, had winning numbers of 8, 14, 17, 20, 39 and the Mega Ball was 7.
One ticket was sold in San Jose, California, according to a California Lottery spokesman, while it is still unknown where exactly in Georgia the second ticket was sold.
The lottery resets to $15 million for the next round. Read more at The Boston Globe.
