Two Israelis – one a civilian and the other an Israel Defense Forces (IDF) soldier – were stabbed and moderately wounded in an attack close to the Israel Police national headquarters next to Yerushalayim’s Ammunition Hill Light Rail station.

Police officers shot and killed the 17-year-old assailant – Jadallah Abad al-Rauf from east Yerushalayim – at the scene.

Paramedics treated the civilian and soldier – both males and aged 23 and 21 respectively – at the scene and both were transferred to the nearby Hadassah Hospital Mount Scopus for treatment. The Ammunition Hill area – close as it is to the seam between east and west Yerushalayim – has been a locus of several stabbing and car-ramming attacks in the past.

  1. The civilian and the soldier were merely wounded by the stabbing attack, and the terrorist gets Neutralized?! Sounds disproportionate to me! Where is Joe Biden when the terrorists need him most? He offered to give Iran a $200 million, no-strings attached check shortly after the 9/11 attacks; he and Obama negotiated with the kind Mullahs of Iran; he calls on Israel to deescalate it’s self defense response to the 4000 rockets being fired at it, so why can’t he continue on that path and condemn the neutralization of a knife wielding terrorist?! He didn’t win the support of the far left wing bloc by remaining quiet in the face of neutralizations. I regret that he won the election.
