The war between Israel and Hamas has left more United Nations workers dead than in any other single conflict, the organization’s Inter-Agency Standing Committee said in a statement.
The committee, which describes itself as the “highest-level humanitarian coordination forum” of the U.N., said 88 staffers in the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) had already been killed since the conflict in Gaza dramatically escalated less than a month ago.
The statement said the world has watched “in shock and horror” at the spiraling “numbers of lives lost and torn apart,” and called for more aid to enter the besieged enclave, greater protections for civilians, and for the “immediate and unconditional release of all civilians held hostage.”
“We need an immediate ceasefire,” the statement added. “It’s been 30 days. Enough is enough. This must stop now.” Read more at Inter-Agency Standing Committee.
Most people do not remember this, so I will remind you:
In year 1973 CE, Israel was attacked by Arab nations.
This is known as The Yom Kippur War.
In the early days of the war, Israel was losing, and the United Nations said nothing.
Then Israel started to win the war, and the United Nations suddenly decided the war must STOP IMMEDIATELY, and stopping the war is an emergency-level-priority.
Notice the similarity to our times:
When Hamas fired more than 10,000 missiles at Israeli civilians for 18 years (which is a War Crime), the United Nations said nothing or very little. But on October 2023, when Israel struck-back against Hamas, the United Nations suddenly decided the war must STOP IMMEDIATELY, and stopping the war is an emergency-level-priority.
UN Leader Ban Ki-moon, in Departing Speech,
Admits Anti-Israel Bias at World Body
posted on 2016 December 16 by JNS.org
United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon, who is stepping down at the end of the year, acknowledged in a departing speech that there is “disproportionate” bias against Israel at the world body.
“We must never accept bias against Israel within U.N. bodies,” Ban said Friday.
Ban went on to admit that the U.N. has a “disproportionate volume of resolutions, reports and conferences criticizing Israel,” and that “in many cases, rather than helping the Palestinian cause, this reality has hampered the ability of the U.N. to fulfill its role effectively.”
Israeli Ambassador to the U.N. Danny Danon commended Ban’s statement and noted the disproportionate number of anti-Israel resolutions passed at the U.N. in recent years.
“The secretary-general admitted the clear truth—the U.N.’s hypocrisy towards Israel has broken records over the past decade. During this time the U.N. passed 223 resolutions condemning Israel while only eight resolutions condemning the Syrian regime as it has massacred its citizens over the past six years. This is absurd,” said Danon.
At the same time, Ban urged Israeli lawmakers to reconsider the controversial outpost bill, which would legalize Israeli settlements on private Palestinian land.
“I strongly urge legislators to reconsider advancing this bill, which will have negative legal consequences for Israel and substantially diminish the chances for Arab-Israeli peace,” Ban said.
Does the United Nations (U.N.) discriminate against Israel?
“Israel is the ONLY U.N. state not permitted to be a full member of any of the U.N.’s five regional groups.
Throughout the Human Rights Council sessions, these groups hold key planning meetings in which countries negotiate and share important information behind closed doors.
Even the Palestinian Authority, though not a state, is permitted into the Asian regional group.”

The UN STAFFERS are TERRORISTS THEMSELVES and THEY SUPPORT THE TERRORISTS
Well perhaps don’t act as an accessory to terrorists?
Your staffers knew for years (decades?) that they were working side by side with terrorists.
If you didn’t try to stop them from placing rocket launchers in and around your facilities you might not have been complicit in the double war crimes committed by Hamas on a regular basis.
Maybe if you had reported the locations of these sites to the Israelis they might’ve coordinated with you so as to remove your personnel prior to the strikes. Since you didn’t, that sort of takes away your veil of “international aid organization” and demonstrates that you are active complicit with their plot. Has they coordinated with you, you would have acted as a double agent and reported that back to Hamas.
I almost consider UNWRA to be a co-conspirator with Hamas and certainly a willing accomplice.
Kein Yirbu!
I miss Nikki Haley
I’m not sure what you mean by that statement. Can you elaborate?
I DONT RECALL ANY OTHER WARS THAT UN IN HORROR SAID ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. LIKE THE WAR BETWEEN IRAN ANE IRAQ ETC ETC
Not to mention that there are only 2 types of people who would be working at the U.N. Gaza Indian Reservation: lunatics and frustrated Western jobless university diplomates.
