The Herzlia home of the new United States ambassador to Israel, David Friedman, was specially kashered before his arrival and had new mezuzos affixed to its doors. Friedman had asked his chavrusah of eighteen years, Rav Zalman Wolowik, Director of Chabad of the Five Towns in Cedarhurst, to arrange this. Rav Zalman flew to Israel to supervise the process.
In April, a State Department official confirmed that an Orthodox rov, Aryeh Lightstone, was to serve in an advisory role at the embassy in Israel alongside David Friedman.

Smart man. Kol hakavod.
Theres nobody in Israel who knows how to kasher, and obviously mezuzoz are very rare.
Sounds like a very smart guy
“Emes”,
Your snarky comment aside, Ambassador Friedman asked his good friend Rav Zalman Wolowik to recommend someone in E”Y to handle these matters and R. Wolowik insisted on going to E”Y and doing it himself.
After he’s done with David Friedman he can hop over to my home in Ezras Torah to check my Mezuzos
