Yesterday, we asked eaders to please daven and learn l’zechus Chaim Yechezkel ben Miriam Elka, a 5-year-old boy from Brooklyn “whose liver is not functioning and may need a liver transplant if his condition does not improve in the next few hours.”
While his condition first improved very slightly, it was decided overnight that a partial liver transplant is needed. The doctors are waiting for the transplant to arrive from Florida and the surgery will then be performed at Columbia University Medical Center in New York City.
