The Kretchnif Siget community is calling for tefillos for the complete recovery of the Rebbe, Rav Baruch Zeida Eliezer Zev ben Shifra, who is hospitalized in extremely critical condition at Shaare Zedek Medical Center in Yerushalayim after suffering a severe stroke.
The Rebbe was admitted shortly before Shabbos in grave condition and has since been sedated and placed on a respirator.
A special tefillah gathering and the recital of the entire Sefer Tehillim was held tonight at at the Kretchnif Siget Beis Medrash Nachalei Emunah on Rechov Rappaport in the Beis Yisroel neighborhood of Yerushalayim.
Doctors are saying that the situation is very serious and only tefillos can help.
On Motzoei Shabbos, hundreds of chassidim gathered at the kever of the Rebbe’s father, the previous Kretchnifer Rebbe, Rav Hershele zt”l, on Har HaZeisim, to daven.
In addition, following the instruction of Rav Yaakov Meir Schechter, the name Baruch was added as a zechus to the Rebbe’s name during a special minyan arranged by his son.
All are asked to daven for Rav Baruch Zeida Eliezer Zev ben Shifra.
