A U.S. Postal Service worker is no longer employed in Kentucky following an investigation into the discovery of 112 unopened absentee ballots inside a dumpster.

The person “is no longer employed by the USPS,” statement from a spokesman for the U.S. Postal Service Office of Inspector General said, CBS-WKYT reported. “I cannot provide any further details surrounding their employment due to federal privacy concerns.”

The case is now under investigation, according to Special Agent Scott Balfour.

“The case has been accepted for federal prosecution by the U.S. Attorney’s Office,” Balfour wrote in the statement to WKYT. “They will determine what charges are appropriate after a review of all the facts in the case.”

  1. Shut down the darn usps already! They are a worthless tax sucking corrupt inept organization. One of the qualifications to be hired by the usps is that you must be a highschool drop-out robotic moron with no common sense. The worst torture a boss can do to an employee is to send them to the post office. To wait endlessly on line with the lowest dregs of society. Only one teller is ever available. The one teller is as slow and dumb as molasses. Now, due to their ever concern of Covid restrictions, you are made to wait on line outside the post office like a dog.

    • Hello? You sound like a high school drop out yourself. Maybe you should tell your boss to find a better place than the USPS to do business, since you’re smarter than everyone else. There’s a reason ppl like you have a boss, vs being the boss. Let that sink in.
