As we reported yesterday, due to the petirah of Rav Yosef Yisroel Yisraelson zt”l, a son-in-law of Maran Rav Yosef Shalom Elyashiv shlit”a, a rally scheduled to take place last night for the Yahadus Hatorah/United Torah Judaism party was cancelled. The rally has been rescheduled and will take place this coming Sunday in the Bais Yisroel Hall in Yerushalayim. The gathering will hear addresses by Rav Elyashiv, Rav Aharon Leib Shteinman and the Belzer Rebbe.
Rav Elyashiv was unable to attend the levaya of Rav Yisraelson yesterday in Bnei Brak. Rav Yisraelson lived in the same apartment building, and on the same floor, as Rav Aharon Leib Shteinman, who delivered a hesped at the levaya, which left from the niftar’s home, at 5 Rechov Chazon Ish.
