Yitzchok Goldknopf, a leader of the UTJ party, urgently reached out to Israeli Prime Minister Bibi Netanyahu with a letter expressing his concern that the state budget does not align with the commitments made to his party. He warned that UTJ would not back the budget in the Knesset if the issue is not resolved.
Goldknopf wrote, “In contrast to the agreed upon, we were surprised to see that the above summaries do not come to fruition in the budget proposal to be submitted to the government on Sunday. I repeat and request that the funding of the Torah institutions and public institutions in the Ministry of Welfare be submitted as agreed.”
He warned Netanyahu, saying, “I hereby request you to enter immediately into the thick of the matter and ensure that the agreements between us are valid and that they are carried out in full, so that we can guarantee our support for the budget that will be brought before the Knesset for approval in the near future.”
The coalition leaders’ meeting that took place last Sunday ended without reaching any concrete decisions, amid growing frustration from the charedi parties over the ongoing delay in resolving issues related to the draft law and daycare subsidies.

“The judicial system in Israel is a total mess. There is a panel. They basically appoint themselves. They have the power, in essence, to overrule any law based on whatever grounds of reason they pick… They’re not nominated and confirmed by any kind of political process, it’s all inside baseball. Oh, and they protect themselves…. Just like in the US, the legal field in Israel is dominated by the libs… Now, the irony of this is, Netanyahu is trying to get some simple accountability, that there is gonna be political nominations, that way they’re accountable and confirmations, just like it’s done in the US., to make sure that their judiciary doesn’t get out of hand and try to take on power it doesn’t have… The libs are losing their minds. They’re trying to destroy the country; they’re shutting down the airports, they’re striking, you’ve got allegation of military folks not showing up for duty… They need this judicial reform. They need it now.
INTERNATIONAL MONEY IS THROWING INTO ISRAEL RIGHT NOW FROM LIBERALS AROUND THE WORLD – TO STOP JUDICIAL REFORM AND – TO MAKE SURE THAT ISRAEL DOES NOT LOSE ITS LIB POWERFUL GRIP OVER THE COURT SYSTEM.”
Throw some bones to Charediim which will stop Judicial Reform!!!
