In cooperation with the Israel-based NGO Palestinian Media Watch (PMW), families of American victims of terror this week called on Secretary of State Rex Tillerson to deny the entry of Palestinian official Jibril Rajoub to the U.S.

The secretary of the Palestinian Fatah party’s Central Committee in Ramallah, Rajoub has a long history of praising terrorism. The Fatah faction is headed by Palestinian Authority (PA) President Mahmoud Abbas. Rajoub heads the PA’s soccer association.

Rajoub has publicly glorified Palestinian terrorists who murdered American citizens in Israel during the uptick in Palestinian terror that began in October 2015, saying, “We in the Fatah movement bless and encourage them (the terrorists). We consider them heroes and a crown on the head of every Palestinian.”

In 2014, Rajoub called on the Palestinian terror group Hamas to kidnap Israelis, only a few months before Hamas’s kidnapping and murder of U.S. citizen Naftali Frenkel and his friends, Gilad Shaar and Eyal Yifrach.

“It’s clear that kidnapping is the language they (Israelis) understand…we encourage them (Hamas kidnappers),” Rajoub said in an interview on Palestinian television.

PMW noted in a bulletin March 29 that U.S. law prohibits the entry of anyone who “endorses or espouses terrorist activity or persuades others to endorse or espouse terrorist activity.”

Based upon this prohibition, PMW is urging its supporters to contact members of the U.S. Congress, presidential administration and media to “help prevent the terror supporter Jibril Rajoub from entering the U.S., and to have him arrested should he arrive.” JNS.ORG
