I vividly remember when the Steipler ztvk”l would stand by the bimah listening to the same ba’al koreh, Reb Yidel Boyer’s son as a bochur who read extremely loud so Maran ztvk”l could hear the reading of the Megillah. Ashreinu shezachinu.
