[Video and photos below.] In honor of the 25th yahrtzeit of Maran Rav Moshe Feinstein zt”l, rabbon shel kol bnei hagolah, a gathering was held last night at Khal Ateres Yeshaya, the bais medrash of Rav Simcha Bunim Cohen, who had a personal relationship with Rav Moshe and his Rebbetzin. A large crowd gathered to hear divrei zikaron about Rav Moshe. Rav Reuven Feinstein, son of Rav Moshe and rosh yeshiva of Yeshiva of Staten Island, traveled from New York City to attend the kinnus zikaron.
Words of zikaron were delivered by Rav Dovid Schustal, rosh yeshiva of Beth Medrash Govoha; Rav Simcha Bunim Cohen, rov of Khal Ateres Yeshaya; Rav Gershon Weiss, mashgiach at Yeshiva of Staten Island; and Rav Boruch Saks, maggid shiur at Yeshiva of Staten Island.
During his remarks, Rav Cohen shared a number of personal and poignant stories that he experienced with Rav Moshe.
