purim-bmg-small[Video below.] Last night, hundreds upon hundreds of people gathered at Beth Medrash Govoha in Lakewood, NJ, for a Purim mesiba. Each year, the gathering is an uplifting one, with beautiful singing and divrei Torah from the Roshei Hayeshiva and Mashgiach. This year was no different. The mesiba was held in the yeshiva‘s dining room, where the crowd gathered around a tremendous tish-like table, with the rabbonim at the head of the table on the dais. The heart-stirring zemiros were led by Reb Abish Brodt and his sons, with music by Yehoshua Ausfresser and Eli Cohen. Divrei hisorerus in honor of Purim were said by Harav Malkiel Kotler, Harav Yisroel Neuman and the Mashgiach, Harav Matisyahu Salomon.

a true simchas yom tov and simchas hachag
with the untiring singing of shloime daskal who sang through the night.

  3. torah is a inyoin of simcha why do thai need singing

and if its for the talmidim why do the roshai yisheivos need to join

  4. I KNOW REB AHRON DID NOT ALLOW SHTREMILACH, BUT HE DID NOT HOLD OF KIRUV RECHOKIM EITHER IN FACT HE SPOKE AGAINST ALOT SO IT IS NO CHIDDUSH

  5. Wow! Seems like the Litvish oilam are taking more and more from chassidim. They know what can inspire to go higher in Yiddishkeit.

May all Klal Yisroel be zoche to shteig.

  6. Humm and YU, there were NUMEROUS Chasidishe avreichim in BMG since at least early days of Reb Schneur, zy’a!
And, yes, YU, Rav Aron was very much correct to oppose the sham that is called today “kiruv rechokim”, r’l.
Waste of Klal Yisroel’s desperately needed funds what it is!
