Upon the Shloshim of Hagaon Rav Chaim Yisroel Belsky zt”l
As we mourn and reflect upon the greatness we were so fortunate to have had amongst us, we remember in particular Rav Belsky’s great love and avodah for Shabbos Kodesh and his connection to zemiros Shabbos.
The following song, Shimru Shabsosai, was one of Rav Belsky’s many compositions, which he sang every Shabbos Kodesh.
Rav Belsky had a very deep appreciation for neginah. The A Team & Shira Choir had the zechus of sharing many a musical moment with Rav Belsky. They present Shimru Shabsosai, composed by Rav Belsky.

לְעָמֵל קִרְאוּ דְרוֹר, וְנָתַתִּי אֶת בִּרְכָתִי,
