Newly released security footage proves an NYPD officer lied about a fellow officer hitting a cyclist with his unmarked vehicle. The police report that was filed after the incident made it seem like the cyclist, Ross Cunningham, was at fault for the collision, when he was, in fact, inside the legal bike lane.
The report also says that the cyclist didn’t suffer injuries, when in fact Cunningham sought medical attention for minor injuries. Cunningham later secured the footage of the incident, effectively debunking the contradictory police report.
