Video: Six Injured After Car Slams Into Midwood Restaurant

[Video below.] Brooklyn, NY – Six people were hurt on Erev Shabbos after a car crashed into a Brooklyn restaurant. The car smashed into the restaurant at McDonald Avenue and Avenue I in Midwood around 3 p.m.

Surveillance video shows people inside at the time running for their lives.

The restaurant owner says the damage will be a big blow for his business.

“The store is closed. I don’t know how long it’s going to be closed, and it’s big damage for us. We don’t know when we’ll be able to fix the store and go back to business,” said Store Owner Khorshed Alam.

“I was waiting in the front, and all of a sudden he starts screaming, so I looked behind me, I see a car inside the store, and glass was like flying everywhere,” said one witness at the scene.

All six people were taken to the hospital.

The driver is among those injured.

Police say she will not be charged.
