A frum man was pistol-whipped this afternoon during an attempted robbery in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, this afternoon.

The incident took place at about 5:40 p.m. at Y&I Accounting, located at 318 Roebling Street, between South 8th And South 9th Street.

Two armed suspects dressed in FedEx uniforms and masks entered the office, tied up one of the secretaries, and demanded money. They then pistol-whipped the male victim, the 60-year-old owner of the accounting firm, and fled the scene.

The victim was reportedly tased and then hit on the head with a taser-gun.

Williamsburg Hatzolah transported the man to the hospital in stable condition.

Approximately $1,000 in cash was taken during the robbery.

It is not clear whether the FedEx uniforms were authentic or where they attackers acquired them.

A member of the local community tells Matzav.com that it appears that the attack was carefully planned by the attackers, who seemed to know where they were attacking and that it would be vulnerable to their advances.

The site is now a crime scene as NYPD investigators conduct a full investigation into this incident.
