  1. What Drivel !!
perhaps you can explain to the almana and yesomim of the levaya that I went to yesterday (Yes on Purim) that it’s all well, & soon they’ll realize that their husbands/fathers petirah was really a good thing. or maybe you can tell the wife of the young man born with birth defects who finally had the zechus of getting married but is now after 2 short years of marriage, batteling incurable cancer, that soon she’ll discover that her husbans illness and suffering is really a good thing. There are counteless stories like this and , no, they don’t all end well. In fact many of them end tragically. Some victims have the stength to accept it even though they can’t fathom why they deserve it , and others suffer the pain to their dying day. But, for you to sit there pompusly strumming your guitaur, wailing away, with a slightly retarded grin plastered on your face, lecturing them , is cruel and insesitive to say the least.

  2. Wow! First has it good ! However tges story is a bit different there was a man from momsey that wasnt well the rebbe refused to give a bracha on his health but he also knew tge man was in dire straits so he handed him a closed envelope on the plain ride back he gave he was sitting next to a weathy yid who said he gave $10,000 to the rebbe in a sealed envelope you know the rest of the the recepient is my relative . I was privy to this story also no one would ever talk like that to the rebbe everyone knew he would stay up a whole night just for us yo listen and give Another thing is the line was never in view of the rebbe he was in a room and you waited in the hall.
Either way he wasnt god so its a little strange however the overall message is timeless it is an amzing point.

  3. It’s not fair to say this message is mean just because not everyone sees a bad thing as something “good” it’s still to their benefit nothing that Hashem does is ever bad !! You never know who’s death or tzarah is being me chapter on your aveiros! Not a laughing matter

  4. My wife just had a real miracle in time for Purim. She got a kidney stone about two months ago but was afraid of the procedure of removing it as she experience one exactly one year earlier. She went to a leading manhattan doctor and then was told not to wait too long as it’s a number five stone. She went about a month later to another leading doctor in Long Island who also told her not to wait too long. This doctor gave her a latest date to remove the stone and warned that the kidney on the cat scan pictures looks swollen. A neighbor told her to go to the Lubavitcher Ohel. She did. Then a crazy thing happened. Two days before the scheduled surgery her health insurance was cancalling. What now. It was a technicality because her married name on the social security card was not changed from her single name. Now she was lost. In two days her insurance is over and this was turning into an emergency crisis. Walking in the street very distraught she meets a cousin who upon hearing her situation, recommended a frum local doctor. The doctor squeeezed her in for a five pm appointment and after doing a sonogram in his office finds that the kidney is not swollen. He tells her to run to this little hospital where his son works as a doctor as well to do a cat scan and if the stone is there to do an emergency procedure immediately as she has one day left on her insurance. Guess what. The cat scan shows no swelling and no stone. It was a miracle purim this year for her and all of us. She calls back the second doctor and in fact has a copy of the scan and the doctor states in all his years he never had such an experience. Some of you may say she passed the stone but she watched each time and no stone came out. There also would of been pain upon the passing of a stone that size. Even though my wife is not Chabad, she attributes it to her visit at the Ohel. Just sharing our joy. Thanks for reading our story. And never ever give up. The fact that insurance was cancelled is what was the real salvation. For had the insurance not cancelled the procedure would be done by the second doctor as scheduled right after Purim. This doctor in fact refused a second cat scan because he said this size stone hasnt passed till now and it won’t. He claimed too much radiation on the cat scan. But imagine being put out and going through a procedure in an operating room and there was no stone even there. Truly a miracle.
