  1. Actually, Rav Menachem Man Shach was the originalator of having Lakewood Yungerleit ( afew months after thgeir chasunah) to go to out of town koilelim for 4-5 years, they would be much more sucessful in learning, it would be a great help in Shalom Bayis and it would save America and Lakewood. yearsReb Shmuel Kamenetsky visited one shabbos to propose Rav Shach’s initiative, it was turned down. Rav Breitowitz proposed Rav Shachs initiave toi the Balei Batim at an Agudah convention, they went for the idea very much.

    • Yeh, but then what about shidduchim for their kids. Limaaseh, living out-of-town has a certain modernishkeit to it. They start to wear Lands End winter coats. Different colored hats and socks etc… If it’s snowing Shabbos morning, they’ll come without a hat bichlal. These are serious issues which shouldn’t be poo-pooed.
