He’s right.
As someone who’s named for a great-grandparent murdered by the nazis ym”s, I take antisemitism very seriously. That said, someone who uses an insult without knowing what it means may be a fool, but the suspension and fine are crazy over-the-top. An apology and perhaps an education about the word he used and antisemitism are well in order, but how is fair to punish someone so severely if they had no clue that what they said was a bigoted slur?
Also, I’m glad Mr. Shapiro called out the NBA’s hypocrisy in regards to China’s oppression and possible genocide of its Uighur minority citizens, while they at the same time ostentatiously champion every “woke” cause in the book.
