Measles is NOT dangerous for children. If anything, it strengthens their immunity. Measles, though, can be severe for adults who might even have to be hospitalized. Which is why parents would send their young children to these places so that they can be exposed to measles as early as possible.

On the other hand, the measles vaccine (MMR) only provides temporary and incomplete immunity. Woe to adults who are exposed to measles.

    • As many as one out of every 20 children with measles gets pneumonia, the most common cause of death from measles in young children.About one child out of every 1,000 who get measles will develop encephalitis (swelling of the brain) that can lead to convulsions and can leave the child deaf or with intellectual disability. For every 1,000 children who get measles, one or two will die from it.

  2. As I see this I wonder to myself what brings a member of our community to go to the national news media and especially to CNN the kings of liberalism and anti religious thought where one of their reporters said yesterday a baby in their mothers womb is not a human being. How does one go to stir up Machlokes to such an institution? As I watch this video the answer becomes clear it is all about $$$$$. 40 parties were canceled at his entertainment center it is hurting his pocketbook so he lashes out to CNN. What a despicable thing to do.

  3. “Someone else’s decision affects your life.”
Tell that to parents whose children were forced to get vaccines in order to attend school and suffered adverse effects or even death. And for those of you who say there are no dangerous side effects from vaccines:
    1. why does the vaccine manufacturer’s insert list dangerous side effects – if they don’t occur?
    2. why has the govt vaccine compensation program paid out $4 billion dollars to families who brought strong medical evidence that their child died or was severely injured from a vaccine – if dangerous side effects don’t occur? (one example…look up chase boatman case)
    3. why did the vaccine manufacturers say in the 1980s that they could not handle all the lawsuits being brought their way and wanted to stop making vaccines – if dangerous side effects don’t occur? they could have gotten their lawyers to defend them easily.

And I hope this family knows that the MMR vaccine has not been tested for safety or efficacy in six month old babies. Would they give their child a medicine that has not been tested for safety in six month old babies?
