Democratic candidate for Colorado’s 6th congressional district on Denver’s east side recorded a video in which he blasted himself in the face with pepper spray to promote non-firearm methods of self-defense.
Levi Tillemann is a Denver businessman and the former special adviser for policy and international affairs at the U.S. Department of Energy under the Obama administration. Tillemann took on a painful and hyperbolic stunt in order to differentiate himself from Democratic opponent Jason Crow as he seeks to win the June 26 primary and ultimately try to replace the seat currently held by Republican Michael Coffman. Tillemann released a video today touting “non-lethal self-defense tools” for teachers in lieu of recent proposals that educators should be given firearms to defend classrooms from school shooters.

I have to say that idiotic is too kind a word for this demonstration. Not because of the danger and pain he suffered, because this gentlemen thinks he’s going to stop an attack with an assault rifle using a can of pepper spray. By the time the glass is broken and someone gets close enough (yeah you can’t be 50 to 100 feet away) many will be injured or chalilah dead. This is as sadistic as a California Senator stating that she would tell the gunman to put down the gun and he would comply. Levi is as dumb as a doorknob. He doesn’t want the TEACHERS to have guns?! So if a kid, like the Parkland shooter, is standing 20-30 feet away, spraying the classroom with a machine gun, the stupid worthless teacher is going to protect lives by spraying his little bottle of pepper spray???! Is this guy serious? I knew liberals are dumb but I never knew to what extent until now.
