  1. pure antisemitsm caused by not wanting jews to move in & just using this as an excuse to try & keep them from moving in & taking over the town.

make no mistake we all have freedom of speech but this is still pure antisemitsm & they are trying to stop from their city becoming another lakewood or toms river or monroe etc… & the yidden taking over

  2. This Arab kid, Rahimi, is a classic anti semitic schmuck. As soon as he brings Lakewood into the conversation, I knew what this hater was all about. Lakewood is 60 miles away. He’s not Jewish. Fake news. If an Orthodox jew would of made similar disparaging remark about his Arab neighborhood, he would be charged with a hate crime and the FBI would be knocking on his door.

  3. If it’s not about religion, why is he bringing up public schools? Obviously it’s about religion. Religion and anti semitism. Otherwise, the only question should be is do these poles effect the utility poles or the transmission of electricity. If the answer is no, then there is no reason to oppose them.

  4. THIS WILL GO TO COURT AND THE ERUV WILL DEFINITELY BE O.K.’D.
THE MAHWAY TAXPAYERS HAVE TO REALIZE THAT THEIR BEHAVIOR IS GOING TO MAKE THEIR LAWYRERS RICH AND THAT THEY ARE GOING TO FOOT THE BILL.

  5. Have we forgotten that we are in Golus? Yes, it’s a medinah shel Chesed but it’s still Esav. This week’s parsha- פנו לכם צפונה- הצפינו עצמכם. Read the Kli Yakar on that possuk to see what happens to Jews who forget that Mashiach hasn’t come yet. Why do we have to put up this eruv and stick it in their eyes? I hate to say this, but I cannot say I blame them. I understand their fears. It’s not politically correct to say this in a land of the free and the home of equal rights, but we have forgotten our place.

    • you are right on the subject of fancy houses, cars etc see ‘kli yako’r this parshe ,devorim, on verse ‘rav lochem sovav huhor hazeh, pni useu tzafonu’ the end.. its not shayech legabay mitzvoh. otherwiese we stop doing mitzvos and look like yidden because we are in galus and gentiles hate yidden??

  6. I hope people on this site realize that the eruv is in question for many reasons.
Number one: It is the target of sabotage and hence loses its chazakah , compare to lighting your menorah where the wind will extinguish it .
Number Two: This man is Jewish and is being mocheh on his chelek of the shituf (unless his house is outside the eruv)
Number Three: Gedolei HaPoskim and Roshei Yeshivos have discouraged their talmidim from utilizing such eiruvin. They are not meant for Bnei Torah . Rav Elyashiv did not encourage use of the Yerushalayim eruv and lhbc Rav Nissim Karelitz does not encourage use of the Bnei Brak Eruv.
Rav Yaakov is quoted in Emes LeYakov on SA that community eruvin move the fulcrum of Shabbos to a day of pleasure instead of kedusha.
Let is accept these words of mussar from no matter whom the messenger is
