Ah! My days in BMG! I wish I can be back there! Can someone remind me who that Yid is at 58 seconds with the grey beard? I remember him being Maavir Sedra in the hallway outside the Yoshon on Fridays.
He is a ba’al koreh and well known in Yeshiva (and Yeshiva area, I recognized him when I was a bachur davening in Satmar nearly 20 years ago) for many years, I don’t think it’s right to post his name online.
oh no! there’s a guy there without a jacket and hat!! throw him out immediately. how’s he gonna get a shidduch? I guess he’s the second best boy in BMG. The rest are ‘ALL’ the best boys in BMG (yes, Im being sarcastic)
At the end of the day, if your dad has gelt, you’re getting that top tiered shidduch, regardless of color shirt or whether you wear a hat by davening. If you’re a hard working middle class Ben Torah without the gelt, you’re a nobody, a person of no consequence. Your son could be a Talmud chuchum muflig, masmid atzum, with the best middos…. Ain’t going to help ke hu zeh klal. You’re getting that second level shidduch. Btw, that’s a good thing. If your son is a serious Ben Torah yiras shomayim, he doesn’t want or need a high maintenance spoiled brat girl. No need to spend your entire Shana rishona running from one national park to another across the world.
