I was in Boro Park that night and did not see any riot. You had a couple of meshugoyim dreizich arum on 13th Avenue. Not a single window was smashed. The moser in the story was not touched at all.
What I found during the corona saga was that all the meikilim, liberal, malshinim etc… found legitimacy for their weakness. It suddenly became ok and even a style not to go to a minyan, mikve or to be all against any heilige gathering. It became ok to be malshinim because this time they can even use the tirutz of “venishmartem” and they have a legal backup which they usually didn’t have. The problem was that from the first day everyone needed to be reunited against any stand against any makom kadosh and the hamon am was too slow to chop that it was these portzei geder that were the ones egging it on.
You don’t have to be touched to commit a crime. The definition of “assault” is instilling fear of imminent bodily attack Battery is actually hitting somebody. If you don’t think this guy acted outside of the law youure nuts. What gives them the right to do that?
I vehemently disagree with his behavior but if he was protesting in the exact same manner with right skin color or for the “right causes” he would not be arrested.
I agree. While I disagree with protesting I do see this man as one that is the “bemakom shein anashim” Ive watched his videos and 99% of the time or even more he was in sync with the police chief. I actually loved the simchas beis hashoeva on the streets of boro park this week. This whole arrest is an act of Nekama it seems by the Mosser and probably some in the pd that don’t like to see him have such a say…

We desperately need people who are willing to stand up for truth in these troubled times.
While some may disagree with his style, the motive behind is to seek truth.
I pray this our fellow Jews will not abandon him.

I know but law enforcement have the right to make deals and need to have the integrity to stick to it. Simply for trust building; not a smart idea to break a deal and trust with a guy that has a following like that.

This cuomo personally murdered tens of thousands in the nursing homes, and another couple of thousand by his laws 1) not requiring hospitals to keep normal records. 2) not allowing visitors in hospitals. 3)giving hospitals immunity for malpractice etc. 4) keeping trump provided hospitals empty while having standard hospitals give terrible hospice care (not even).
I don’t disagree with what you are saying. All I’m saying is being a blow hard loudmouth to get on TV is not the proper way. Do you really believe he is helping our cause?? Or are you just happy that someone in venting for you?
while i disagree with this man’s behavior (decidedly unjewish), why cant he make a deal about which day to be arrested when every criminal can make a deal about being allowed to go free to continue criminal behavior without bail? tiscler would have made himself available for arrest when he said he would, but none of those menuvalim would have made themselves available to be in court when they were supposed to be there. while tischler’s ‘crime’ was not a crime by any meaningful definition, these ‘other people’ have continued their illegal behavior with inpunity
Just like one cannot take the law into his own hand so too and ultimately one cannot take halacha into his own hand… Malshinim will have to answer for their breach in halacha.
