  1. Notice the jerk from i24, Jeff Smith, trying to steer the conversation towards some mythical “dichotomy” and “civil disobedience” that the “ultra orthodox” are supposedly allowed to get away with, instead of the actual aggressive wide-scale suppression by the Medinat Judenrat government-machine, and the murderous judenrat capos locking up the exit which caused this particular tragedy.

  2. Here are the results of the inquiry:- Cannot stuff 100,000 people into 4 acres.
Follow up course of action:- By next Pessach Scheni {even being 13 months later} they still will be fighting & arguing, and no updated plans shall have been worked out, with just 4 days left until Lag b’Omer.
Netanyahu shall be busy with his legal appeals, and other rotating prime ministers shall be totally incapable of doing anything other than still keeping the Israeli border closed to all foreigners except foreign prime-ministers & athletes.

    • 7:32, why didn’t you mention the fire hazzard artificially created by the Israeli police blocking an exit?!
4 acres divided by 100,000 is approximately 1.75 sq ft per person – yes, it’s claustrophobic but it is just enough room to stand in one place while breathing and it doesn’t have to cause fatalities if: a) the exits are not blocked by any evil judenrat capos, and b) no one in the crowd starts pushing others: use only words to ask people to let you through, and even if they don’t – you still have no permission to start pushing; just stand in your place for hours if need be, until the crowd starts to dissipate and you can move. Additionally, some evacuation lanes should always be opened in order to allow extraction of any medical emergency cases by Hatzala.

  3. Anonymous, you can’t be serious. 1.75 sq ft per person works in a small area, if there’s open space all around. You cannot pack a full 4 acres that way, how’s anyone supposed to get out if all around them for a full 4 acres it’s that crowded?!

The answer is to encourage people to come at other times during the day, which usually works when it’s not Friday. By the time Lag B’omer is on Friday again, they’ll need a better plan, but until then the congestion has been more bearable since it’s staggered throughout the night and day.

“147” – that sounds very much on target, unfortunately…
