Israeli Minister of Communications Yoaz Handel arrived in Kiryat Malachi yesterday as a guest of Mayor Eliyahu Zohar to review the installation of fiber optics throughout the city.
During the minister’s tour, a Chabad representative in the city council and the acting mayor, Bezalel Mizrachi, suggested that he put on tallis and tefillin.
And he did.
The minister accepted the offer, and the incident was caught on camera.
