A group of American baalei batim who contribute to the massive hospitality effort every Rosh Hashanah in Uman, Ukraine, recently went on a trip to visit kevorim of tzaddikim across Europe.
The group set out on the two-week trip led by Reb Leizer Sheiner, the noted baal tzedakah and baal chessed who sponsors much of the hachnosas orchim undertakings in Uman. Reb Leizer leads a popular shul in Monsey, NY.
A special moment of the trip was captured on camera as the group made its way through the airports in Morocco. As they proceeded through the inspection process, they broke out in song, singing R’ Shlomo Carlebach’s “Orech Yomim,” among other songs.
