Chaim is a good guy and a first class mensch. He’s not your standard politician/askan/elitist selfish attention seeker. He actually cares about his constituents regardless of race, religion, financial status, etc… He is very approachable. I know that first hand, as I’ve spoken to him on numerous occasions requesting assistance, even though I’m not in his district. My own Councilman was very unhelpful and rude to me. Chaim is a Democrat in name only. NYC is completely ruled and controlled by Democrats. The Republican Party is dead and buried in NYC. If Chaim wasn’t registered as a democrat, he wouldn’t have a snowballs chance in h—. I wish I could vote for him but unfortunately I’m just a few blocks to far……in Jerry Nadlers territory. He’ll be our Congressman until his dying day.
