  1. this is not the way my parents raised me. certainly not something my grandparents would do. really? a concert erev rosh hashanah? is that is what uman is all about? is this what yidishkeit is all about? what ever happened to our faith that rosh hashana is yom hadin? how are these people different than open orthodoxy? belief in the fundamentals of tradition does not seem in style today.

  2. out of 40 thousand you see 1000 the rest are davening & learning and even this 1000- in the end it does a lot of good its true its missing the pachad ureadah but rav nachman said that ” uman is a hospital” you come sick and leave a little healthier at the least

  3. How does this differ from any other carlbach style slichos? The only thing is I can’t make out any of the songs. What in the world are the performers singing?

  4. ONE HAS TO TRAVEL THOUSANDS OF MILES
PUMP MILLIONS OF DOLLARS INTO THE UKRAININE ECONOMY
THAT MURDERED MY GRANDPARENTS 70 YEARS AGO
    FOR WHAT????

WHAT EVER HAPPENED TO DAVENING IN YOUR OWN SHULE WITH YOUR FAMILY
LIKE YOR PARENTS AND ALL GENERATIONS BEFORE

  5. What happened to “dan lekaf zchut”?!? To all the judgmental people above do a little research, you have no idea what you are talking about and on erev Rosh Hashana you should be watching your mouth and thoughts as this is a much greater sin than listening to a concert.
There are 40 000 men in Uman on Rosh Hashana, some are already serious and some come from the worst places you can imagine but they are Jews and if you knew someone, a friend, a brother, a son who was completely off the derech full of tattoos and aveirot on erev rosh hashana wouldn’t you be overjoyed to know he was a the kever of a tzadik listening to a concert and that he would actually be davening on yom hadin ?!? Wouldn’t it be the best news ?!? So they start at the concert but b”H many do teshuva after and grow so much and come back to their roots in the merit lf the tzadik Rabbi Nahman.
Ketiva vehatima tova to all of us am yisrael
