I’m confused . Last night did we not say “Zochaluim, ve’ro-adim miyom boyecha”, Trembling and quaking are we in fear of the day of Your coming?
These videos depict a whole lotta shakin’ , but trembling? Not so much.
On Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur, Hallel is not said, because as the Talmud explains in Masechet Arachin 10b, “Is it seemly for the king to be sitting on His Throne of Judgment, with the Books of Life and Death open before Him, and for the people to sing joyful praises to him?”
What sort of slichos is that?! It looks like they’re having a blast! Is that how we’re supposed to say slichos?!!!
Why did selichos turn into simchas torah the past few years?? Teshiva isn’t done with a guitar!
since when is selichos supposed to include dancing? Am I missing something? What is with the ‘feel good’ about everything?! I am soooooo confused!
To all commentators:
Be Vadai U’ Bevadai
Selichos and all Tefilos should ONLY be done by dancing, guitars, harps, the whole band…
Just like Dovid Ha Melech did in his time…
Eivdu as Hashem Be Simcha !!!!!!!!!!
Bring out the band, NOW !!!!!!!!!!
You guys are watching the end after a unbelievable selichos the dancing is from getting closer to g-d

But I guess we know better today.
