The measles vaccine does NOT GIVE LIFETIME IMMUNITY. Even two doses will not give lifetime immunity. Measles is a childhood illness and if an adult comes down with measles, he will suffer terribly. Two MMR doses will NOT help the situation.

2 shots does not give lifetime immunity. My sister was immune according to her MMR titer 5 years ago. Since she was flying this week to israel she retested and was not immune.
I work in a drs office and for the last 6 months we routinely test ppl and they are not immune but are immune to rubella and mumps -the other 2 in the MMR vaccine. Some ppls body just don’t “take”the immunization.
Everyone needs to have an MMR titer (bloodiest) done to check their immunity.

I remember when Prozac (SSRI) was approved in the 1970s a host of newspapers and magazines came out against it; they claimed that some people who took Prozac committed suicide. Many months later the same came out stating how many lives were saved because those experiencing anxiety disorder/ocd/depression took Prozac.
Hold on.. for all those who are using alternative healing, kinesiology, muscle testing, swinging pendulums and are also against vaccines – it would be great to contact your Rav and Doctor and follow what they have to say. Bottom line… what does the Aibishter want from you? What does the Torah say?

If those in the high-risk group (ages 35-62) already had measles during childhood, is a second MMR still necessary?

The speaker and others did not get the MMR. They got another vaccines. The MMR is better than the old one.

And the know many many patients who have NOT committed suicide only because SSRIs are around, BH. For many, these aforementioned drugs are lifesavers.
