Just to set the record straight, this was a short while ago when the recommendations were for the elderly to stay home, but a small crowd (as seen) was still allowed.
But you are still 100% correct that this is how it spreads, and R”L
This is basically 1 immediate family. Almost all of them live in the same apartment. They made a backyard wedding, and are including the grandpa as much as possible. How nice. We have to be dan l’kaf zchut especially at a time like this. We need more z’chutim. Lets work together on our ahavat israel.
Corona flu does not spread among healthy people. Does each person in your family wear a mask at home? And where were you last year when the flu was much worse?
When the weddings were in halls they were rightly criticized now that they made it in their back yard and included the Zeide through a window with about 5 to 10 people outside, that’s a problem? How is it any worse than going to a supermarket ?
what comes to my mind, seeing the grandfather danncing from the window and is not as close as he would want. I see a deep message here. Today in the rush of times, old parents get whats ups via the phone or picture texted, and we feel we are yotzeh with this connection. Our connecting today are superficial and non committal. The older parents grandparents lonely are forgotten, and whats up or picture makes us feel we have done it, we gave them our time. THis is not true. The young don’t want to include the old in their shuls , in their gatherings, the koved to the parents have been brudged. I am talking for myself. I’H we should be zocheh to a full yeshua and it should be veheishiv lev avos al banim veal avosav! May this bring a kiddush hashem to the all the umos haolam ve biyas goel tzedek!
When was this? There is a lockdown now…you can’t do this either…

People need to eat. Some other things are nice to do but not needs in today’s circumstance.
